The New York Mets have traded pitcher Seo Jae-weong to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Mets announced Wednesday that they traded Seo and left-handed pitcher Tim Hamulack for relievers Duane Sanchez and Steve Schmoll.

Having played for the Mets for eight years, Seo will join his high school alumnus Choi Hee-seop in Los Angeles.

Seo last season went 8-2 in 14 starts, with an earned run average of 2.59.
