Korea Aerospace Industries on Thursday held a ceremony on the delivery of the first domestically made advanced trainer jet T-50.

Co-developed with American aerospace giant Lockheed Martin, the country's first supersonic plane was rolled out in August and has undergone test trials to prove its performance.

Designed to train next-generation fighters such as the F-15K, F-35 and F-22, the T-50 is also usable as an attack plane equipped with air-to-air missiles and other weapons.
