A top research partner of disgraced scientist Hwang Woo-suk is expected to return next week to Seoul National University Hospital.

A hospital official said Tuesday Ahn Cu-rie said in a recent phone call that she intends to return and resume her work as a doctor.

A co-author of Hwang's paper published in the journal Science in May, she has remained in seclusion since December 16th.
