Disgraced scientist Hwang Woo-suk is expected to resign from all of his posts, including professor of veterinary medicine at Seoul National University.

His close aide said Friday that Hwang has expressed his intent to that effect and that his professorship is meaningless since he cannot continue his research.

The investigative panel on verifying Hwang's research made the bombshell announcement earlier that Hwang's stem cell thesis published this year by the journal Science was fabricated.
