Seoul National University Hospital on Tuesday appointed Im Jeong-ki as acting chief of the World Stem Cell Hub.

The hospital will announce the hub's operating plan after a university committee completes its investigation on the research of cloning pioneer Hwang Woo-suk.

Im is the director of the Seoul Central Stem Cell Bank.
