Swiss Team: S. Korea Not as Strong as 2002

Switzerland says South Korea's soccer team is not as strong as it was in the 2002 World Cup and will not enjoy home field advantage this time.

The Swiss media on Saturday welcomed its team's placement in Group G with South Korea, France and Togo, calling it the best possible draw.

Switzerland Coach Koebi Kuhn was optimistic about advancing to the second round and on the team's first match with France.

Switzerland came out even in both qualifying matches against France.

Kuhn said that though South Korea is a strong team, many of its players are based overseas and this will prevent effective, long-term training at home.

A Swiss midfielder also said South Korea is good but that his team has no weaknesses.
