South Korea was included in Pot 4 Tuesday along with Japan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, the U.S. and Trinidad & Tobago for this week's drawing for the 2006 World Cup soccer finals in Germany.

The teams of 32 nations were divided into eight groups of four for the upcoming draw in a FIFA executive meeting in Leipzig, Germany.

Brazil, Germany, Italy, France, Argentina, Spain, Mexico and England were assigned as the top eight seeds.

Those countries, as the top seeds, will be unable to play each other in the opening four-team match-ups at the World Cup.

The final draw is slated for Friday.
