Gyeongnam FC is the newest team in the domestic pro soccer K-League and will begin play next season.

The league on Monday approved the addition of Gyeongnam as the 14th team and the first to represent a province South Gyeongsang Province rather than a city.

The team has 17 players including two Latin Americans and will add 16 more before beginning winter training camp on January 14th.

Former national soccer coach Guus Hiddink will serve as special advisor for the team's launch this month.
