Park Ji-sung says he loves Manchester United and that he is glad to be on the team.

Speaking his first words in English in an interview Wednesday, Park told the BBC that he appreciate his warm reception from the team's fans despite being from Asia and that the nine-hour time difference has allowed his fans in South Korea to watch all of his games.

On the UEFA Champions League, he said he hopes for good results in United's bid to make the quarterfinals.

On Wednesday, United defeated West Brom, 3-1, to advance to the quarterfinals of the Carling Cup. In the game, Park received a loud applause after leaving the game in the 65th minute.
