Hiddink Hints at Leaving PSV Eindhoven

Former South Korea soccer coach Guus Hiddink has hinted at leaving PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands.

In an interview with the Dutch daily Algemeen Dagblad Friday, Hiddink said he is getting tired of seeing PSV's best players leave every year and having to rebuild the team again and again.

The part-time coach of Australia's national team said he wants to coach a top European team with a more stable roster.

PSV won the Dutch league and cup last season and advanced to the semifinals of the Champions League. But it has come under fire after Thursday's 3-0 loss to Germany's Schalke in a Champions League qualifier.

Hiddink's stock as a coach has skyrocketed since he led South Korea to a miraculous semifinal berth in the 2002 World Cup. He also helped Australia qualify for next year's tournament for the first time since 1974.

British media say Manchester United could go after Hiddink after the contract of Sir Alex Ferguson expires next year.
