The commissioner of the domestic baseball league has resigned over personal reasons.

The Korea Baseball Organization on Friday said Park Yong-Oh has stepped down after serving seven years at the post.

The former chairman of the Doosan Group is apparently resigning as commissioner as he faces indictment for helping to amass a slush fund worth more than 32 billion won.
