The Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Company is the first in the country to win a global bid to export domestic nuclear plant technology.

The company on Friday said it beat out U.S., Canadian and British firms in a bid offered by Romania's state atomic power corporation for advanced technology for assessment of a plant's safety.
