Nat'l Soccer Team Bests Serbia Montenegro 2-0

South Korea's national soccer team defeated Serbia and Montenegro 2-0 in a friendly match at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul Wednesday night.

The first goal came from Choi Jin-cheul, who scored on a header from an overhead pass by teammate Lee Eul-yong in the fifth minute.

Lee Dong-gook put the Korean team up by two goals in the 66th minute after dribbling for nearly 60 meters and powering home a right-footed shot from just in front of the penalty box.

Wednesday’s match was the national team’s third since Dick Advocaat became national coach in September. South Korea has notched two victories and a draw thus far under the Dutch skipper.
