A female weightlifter on Wednesday won gold medals in the clean and jerk and the women's 75-kilogram class at the Centennial World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

Jang Mi-ran had an overall lifting score of 300 kilograms, including 128 in the snatch and 172 kilograms in the clean and jerk.

She is the country's second woman to win the overall title at the event after Kim Soon-hee did so in 1999.
