Koreas to Discuss Unified Team in Macao

The two Koreas on Saturday will hold talks in Macao on fielding a unified team at next year's Asian Games in Doha and the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The Korean Olympic Committee on Monday said its North Korean counterpart proposed the meeting during the fourth East Asian Games that open Saturday in Macao.

The committee wants each side to send five delegates to the working-level meeting.

Last month in China, KOC Kim Jung–gil and North Korean counterpart Mun Jae-dok agreed on the unified team in talks arranged by Olympic Council of Asia President Sheik Ahmad Al-Sabah.
