Archer Breaks World Mark with Perfect Score

Archer Choe Won-jong of Yecheon County has set a new world record at the National Sports Festival in Ulsan.

In the men's individual competition Tuesday, Choe scored the maximum ten points on each of his 12 shots to earn a perfect score of 120.

The previous record was 119 set by Park Gyeong-mo of Incheon in the 1993 World Archery Championships.
