The national soccer team next month will play at home a friendly against Sweden on November 12th and another against Serbia-Montenegro four days later.

Ranked tenth in the world, Sweden on Wednesday secured a berth in next year's World Cup with a 3-1 win over Iceland in Group 8 of the European zone.

South Korea, which beat Iran Wednesday, 2-0, in coach Dick Advocaat's debut, has lost twice and drawn once versus the Scandinavian country.

Serbia-Montenegro, 48th in the FIFA rankings, beat Bosnia-Herzegovina, 1-0, to take the lead in Group 7.

Advocaat will summon South Korean players on November 10th to prepare for the team's final matches of the year.
