Famed Russian coach Leonid Arkayev will take over the national women's gymnastics team.

The Korea Gymnastic Association on Tuesday said he agreed to a three-year contract worth ten million won a month and will arrive in the nation on December 1st after clearing administrative procedures.

Arkayev coached the Russian men's and women's teams for 32 years and has trained stars such as Svetlana Khorkina and Alexey Nemov.
