The Agency for Defense Development on Tuesday introduced a rifle capable of firing a 20-milimeter air explosive bomb and a 5.56 milimeter rifleshot at the same time.

The agency also unveiled a next-generation tank that was produced in May after ten years of development and set for deployment after 2010.

The 55-ton tank has a 1,500-horsepower engine, satellite navigation system, automatic shell loader, laser distance measurer and a computer-monitored device for precision fire control.
