National soccer coach Dick Advocaat wants to play Sweden next month in a friendly match.

After his first coaching staff meeting Tuesday, he said he wants the game but since Sweden has not yet qualified for next year's World Cup, the match is not set.

Sweden, however, leads its World Cup group and is likely to secure a berth.

Advocaat's first test as coach will come next week against Iran, and he hopes to schedule two games afterwards versus European powers that have qualified for the World Cup.
