KITA to Host Stem Cell Forum in Seoul

The Korea International Trade Association on October 18th will host the 2005 Seoul Bio/Medi Symposium.

The association on Monday said the symposium will seek to build public consensus on the expected emergence of the bio industry as the leading sector of the 21st century.

World-renowned scholars on cloning and embryonic stem cell research will give lectures and hold discussions on their research, including stem cell pioneer Hwang Woo-suk, University of Pittsburgh professor Gerald Schatten and the world's first scientist to clone a sheep, Ian Wilmut.
