Busan Destroyed in Asian CL Semis

Defending champion Al Ittihad on Wednesday destroyed host Busan I'Park 5-0 in the first leg of the Asian Football Confederation Champions League semifinal.

Brazilian midfielder Tcheco scored a goal and assisted on three others as the Saudi Arabian team scored all five goals in the second half.

Marzouk al-Otaibi's header in the 55th minute was the first of three goals by Al Ittihad in the span of ten minutes.

Sierra Leone striker Mohammed Kallon's free-kick in the 62nd minute doubled the lead, then Tcheco's volley three minutes later gave his team a comfortable 3-0 advantage.

Saud Khariri and substitute Hamzah Idris each added goals in the final minutes.

The final leg of the semifinal will open on October 12th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
