Soccer's world governing body has named North Korean striker Choe Myong-ho as one of the top 13 players in the under 17 world championship.

FIFA on Wednesday said Choe received special attention for his "impeccable" finishing ability, as shown in his three goals in four games.

Though Choe lacks an imposing physical presence, FIFA said the tireless striker always gave 100 percent and knew when to call for the ball.

Often placing himself in the right place at the right time, he also won acclaim for his excellent passing.

The report said the North surprised everyone in the competition with their vivacity, one-touch play and collective strength.
