Golf prodigy Michelle Wie in November could play in a men's event on the Japanese tour.
Japan's Kyodo News Agency on Tuesday said the organizer of the Casio World Open is considering inviting Wie to the tournament.
Sophie Gustafson of Sweden in 2003 was the first woman to play in the tournament but missed the cut.
This year's event will open at Kochi Kuroshio Country Club on November 24th.
