NE Asian Astronomy Body Formed

Researchers from South Korea, China, Japan and Taiwan have formed an East Asian body of astronomy observatories.

The Korea Astronomy Observatory on Thursday said the national observatories of the four nations have signed an agreement to set up the East Asia Core Observatories Association.

The association will discuss regional cooperation in astronomy and conduct exchanges and joint development of space research equipment.
