Park Ji-sung of Manchester United is likely to start in his team's next two Champions League qualifiers in the wake of teammate Wayne Rooney's two-game ban.

The tempermental Rooney last week was ejected in the team's scoreless draw versus Spain's Villarreal for taunting the referee after committing a foul. UEFA, Europe's soccer governing body, then slapped the player with a two-game suspension.

With veteran midfielder Roy Keane out with injury, Park is likely to start Champions League qualifiers against Portugal's Benifica on September 27th and France's Lille on October 18th.

Park on Saturday will probably remain on the bench for United's Premiership game against Blackburn.
