The Korea Football Association is busy preparing for the September 29th arrival of new national coach Dick Advocaat.

The 58-year-old Dutchman will also have on his staff assistant coach Pim Verbeek and tactical analyst Afshin Ghotbi, both of whom served under Guus Hiddink in the 2002 World Cup.

The two assistants are expected to help Advocaat deal with the demanding news media and fans here.

The association has also prepared 400 videos of player footage and pledged its full support for the coaching staff.

Advocaat will scout players in the domestic K-League to decide on a team for his first test, a friendly game versus Iran on October 12th.

An association source said the coach is expected to watch the FC Seoul-Incheon United game on October 2nd and the Seongnam Ilhwa-Suwon Samsung match three days later.

FC Seoul has the country's most promising player, striker Park Chu-young, and midfielder Kim Dong-jin. United also has prospects including defender Lee Jung-soo.

Seongnam Ilhwa standouts include Kim Doo-hyun, Kim Young-chul and Kim Sang-sik and Samsung has 2002 World Cup stalwart Song Jong-gug and Kwak Hee-ju.

The country is also eager to hear Advocaat's strategy for the team in next year's World Cup.
