The Under 17 and Under 20 World Fencing Championships will be held in the eastern region of Taebaek next year from April 10th to 18th.
The youth championships comprise one of the world’s three major fencing tournaments together with the Olympics and the world championships.
Taebaek is the first Asian city to host the youth championships.
More than 3,000 people including 1,570 athletes and officials and reporters from 74 countries will attend the nine-day competition.
