Two-time Netherlands skipper Dick Advocaat is the latest rumored candidate for national soccer coach.
Yonhap News Agency on Tuesday said the Korea Football Association could consider the Dutchman as a dark horse candidate, but is worried over the high price he could cost.
Advocaat in July took over United Arab Emirates, and could balk at leaving the Middle Eastern team so soon unless the price is right.
The Dutchman led the Netherlands to the quarterfinals of the 1994 World Cup and the semifinals of last year's European Championships.
His impressive resume also includes stints with PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands, Rangers of Scotland and Borussia Mönchengladbach of Germany.
Another advantage is that Pim Verbeek, who served under Guus Hiddink during the 2002 World Cup, is on Advocaat's UAE coaching staff.
Both men could also continue Dutch-style soccer on the national team, which has had two Dutch coaches in Hiddink and the recently departed Jo Bonfrere.
