Typhoon Nabi is forecast to swoop down on the nation from Tuesday.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said Sunday that Nabi is heading north toward the Korean Peninsula after lingering over waters northeast of Okinawa, Japan.

It is expected to bring heavy rains and gusting winds across the nation from Tuesday through Wednesday.

The category-three typhoon is reported to have a central pressure of nine-hundred-25 hpa and a wind velocity of 46 meters per second at the center.
