Defender Lee Young-pyo formally signed a four-year deal Wednesday with Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League.

The talented defender is expected to spend next week preparing for his debut on September 10th at home against Liverpool.

On Tuesday, Lee passed a six-hour physical at the team’s medical center.

He is the second Korean player to play in England's top league, following Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung, who signed his own four-year contract on July 10th.
