The 2005 International Nanotech Symposium & Exhibition in Korea has opened in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province for a three-day run.

Under the theme, “NT Challenge, Science & Technology for the Next Era,” the event, the third of its kind since 2003, was jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy.

Delegates from eight countries will speak at the Korea International Exhibition Center on a wide range of topics, ranging from nano-elements to nano-processes.

Meanwhile, 92 firms and research centers from seven countries, including South Korea, Japan and Germany, will display their latest inventions and products based on nano-technology.
