Soccer World Ranking Falls to 23rd

The national soccer team, fresh off an upset loss to Saudi Arabia Wednesday, has dropped two spots in the world rankings.

Soccer's world governing body FIFA has ranked South Korea 23rd with 681 points in the latest poll, third in Asia behind 15th-ranked Iran and 17th-ranked Japan.

North Korea rose two spots to 89th place.

Brazil was number one, followed in the top five by Argentina, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Mexico.
