Midfielder Park Ji-sung of Manchester United on Saturday made a successful debut in the English Premier League against Everton.

As the first Korean to play in England's first league, Park played 85 minutes and starred on defense and offense in gaining the confidence of his teammates.

United beat host Everton, 2-0, to open the season with a win.
