Maligned national soccer coach Jo Bonfrere will call up several overseas-based players for the team's final World Cup qualifier against Saudi Arabia on August 17th.

The Korea Football Association on Tuesday said Ahn Jung-hwan of France's FC Metz, Lee Young-pyo of the Netherlands' PSV Eindhoven, Cha Du-ri of Germany's Eintracht Frankfurt and Cho Jae-jin of Japan's Shimizu S-Pulse will play in an inter-Korean friendly Sunday and the Saudi game.

England-based players Park Ji-sung of Manchester United and Seol Ki-hyeon of Wolverhampton are excluded, however.

The team, which has already qualified for its sixth straight World Cup finals, will play North Korea and the Saudis in Seoul.
