Rising star Park Chu-young is not going to English soccer giant Chelsea as reported.

Goal.com on Monday said South Korean news media erroneously reported that Samsung Electronics, which signed a sponsorship deal with the English Premier League champ, was trying to get Park to move to Chelsea.

A Samsung spokesman called the reports a "total fabrication," saying the company has no connection to Park.

A striker for FC Seoul, the 20-year-old Park says he wants to play in England, but has attracted interest from Bayern Munich of Germany, Olympique Marseille of France and PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands.
