The two Koreas will hold soccer matches in Seoul next month to celebrate the 60th anniversary of liberation from Japanese rule.

The North's Korea Central News Agency and Yonhap News Agency in Seoul on Thursday said negotiators agreed on a men's match in Seoul on August 14 and a women's game two days later.

The North's national teams arrived in Seoul Tuesday for the East Asian Football Championship that starts Sunday.
