Coach Hiddink Leaves for Sydney

PSV Eindhoven coach Guus Hiddink secretly left Seoul Thursday for Sydney apparently to announce his acceptance of the Australian team job.

The All-Australia Press said Hiddink has told South Korean reporters that he will coach the team part-time from November if it qualifies for the World Cup.

The team will open training camp next month in the Netherlands and play World Cup qualifiers against the Solomon Islands on September 3rd and 7th.

Reports say Hiddink will return to Seoul Sunday to watch the final of the Peace Cup invitiational tournament.

The former coach of South Korea and the Netherlands will also stay at PSV.
