PSV Eindhoven and AS Monaco of France have broke off talks over the transfer of PSV wingback Lee Young-pyo.

A Dutch local paper said Thursday that Monaco's offer of 2.5 billion won fell far short of PSV's demand for 6.3 billion won.

Lee's contract with the Dutch champion expires in June next year. Four English Premier League teams are known to have an interest in him.

Olympique Marseille also recently rejected a trade offer from PSV of Lee for promising young Nigerian Taye Taiwo.
