Women Golfers Sweep Victories

South Korean rookie Lee Meena garnered her first LPGA title after winning the one-point-three million-dollar Canadian Women's Open.

In a match held in Halifax, Nova Scotia Sunday, the 24-year-old finished at nine-under two-hundred-79 for a one-stroke victory over Australian Katherine Hull.

The win brought her 195-thousand dollars, pushing her from 13th to seventh on the money list.

Meanwhile, Lee Eun-jung became the first South Korean to win the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links championship after beating Tiffany Chudy in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday.
