PSV Eindhoven says the transfer price for star wingback Lee Young-pyo will begin at five million euros.
Team chairman Rob Westerhof on Friday told the Dutch daily Algemeen Dagblad that PSV will accept nothing less than Lee's market value.
Reports say seven-time French champ AS Monaco will bid up to five million euros for Lee, but that four English Premier League teams are also interested.
Westerhof also expressed regret over Lee's pending depature, but called it inevitable.
Lee's agent, however, said most teams will probably balk at paying five million euros for a 28-year-old defender.
Meanwhile, PSV coach Guus Hiddink told Lee he should stay with the team after the Dutch team's 2-1 win over Seongnam Ilwha in the Peace Cup opener in Seoul.
Hiddink said the defender hardly ever has a bad game and is usually above average, often great.
