IOC to Choose Venue for 2012 Summer Games

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will decide Wednesday on the host city for the 2012 Summer Games.

IOC members will choose between London, Paris, Madrid, Moscow and New York to host the world's biggest sporting event during the IOC's general conference in Singapore.

Paris is considered a favorite, but London is making a last-minute push to bring the Games to the British capital.

Later on Friday, committee members will also vote on the final list of sports that will be played in the 2012 Games, with Seoul paying particular attention to whether Taekwondo and archery will make the final list.
