Slugger Lee Seung-yeop has received a bonus of ten million won for his two-run homer Monday that reached the upper stands of the Tokyo Dome.

The Japanese daily Sports Nippon on Tuesday said the Chiba Lotte Marines star in the second inning sent the ball 150 meters towards the upper deck, where it hit a flashing billboard.

Coincidentally, the billboard was displaying the image of Japan's "Mr. Baseball," the retired Shigeo Nakashima, when the ball struck.

Footage of Lee's waving to the crowd after his blast sent TV ratings of the game soaring from an average five percent to 18.3 percent.
