2002 World Cup hero Ahn Jung-hwan will decide which European team to join in the next few days.
Goal.com on Thursday said many European teams are interested in signing the striker, whose contract with the Japanese champions Yokohama F. Marinos expires in July.
Such teams include Alaves and Athletico Madrid of Spain, Paris St. Germain of France and Lazio and Livorno of Italy's Serie A. FC Koln of Germany and Wigan and West Ham of England have also made tentative inquiries into Ahn.
The report said Spain is Ahn's likely destination, as the player endured an unhappy stint with Perugia of Italy in 2001-2002.
Perugia allegedly fired Ahn after he scored the golden goal that eliminated Italy from the 2002 World Cup.
