Park Chan-ho on Sunday followed his worst start last week with a stellar performance over seven innings, but got only a no-decision.

The Texas Ranger pitcher gave up just five hits and two earned runs and struck out six, but the host Houston Astros prevailed, 3-2.

Park (7-2) rebounded from his horrendous showing Tuesday against the Los Angeles Angels, allowing season highs of ten hits and eight runs in the first inning alone.

The pitcher also lowered his earned run average from 6.05 to 5.75.
