Park Ji-sung, the first Korean to play in Britain’s Premier League, returned from Britain Sunday after a medical check-up for his new team, Manchester United.

In an interview at Incheon Airport, Park expressed confidence at being successful playing any position, saying he would step up his efforts to quickly adapt to a higher league.

The ex-PSV Eindhoven midfielder added that though Eindhoven coach Guss Hiddink is still on his mind, the best way to repay his debts to his old coach is to do well on his new team.

Park is expected to fly back to Manchester United around July 8th to formally join the team upon receiving his employment authorization documents.
