Two women boxers in North Korea will return their championship belts after the International Female Boxers' Association stripped them of their titles.

Junior bantamweight Ryu Myong-ok and bantamweight Kim Kwang-ok will give up their IFBA titles to fight for the World Boxing Council for Females.

The North's Korea Boxing Commission said IFBA titles no longer hold any meaning.

Meanwhile, the North has completed ticket distribution and preparations for a WBCF title bout Tuesday in Pyongyang's Yukyong Chung Ju-young Gymnasium.

The IFBA said it stripped Ryu and Kim of their titles after they decided to fight for the WBCF in apparent concern over the undermining of the association's position.
