Yang Joon-hyeok has tied the domestic pro record for career hits.

The Samsung Lions slugger on Wednesday posted hit number 1,771 in the sixth inning of a 5-3 loss to the Hyundai Unicorns in Daegu.

Yang, 36, now shares the record with Jang Jong-hoon of the Hanwha Eagles, who recently announced his intent to retire after the season.
