Park Ji-sung arrived in London Wednesday to undergo a physical by his new team, Manchester United.

Speaking to reporters and Korean nationals who gathered for his arrival, the midfielder said he will prove himself in the English Premier league as he did in the Netherlands, and adapt even faster.

To officially join the team in July, he predicted that he can soon earn a starting position for United.

Park will complete his physical Thursday and receive a British work permit.

PSV Eindhoven sold his transfer rights for six million euros (7.2 billion won), and Park's four-year contract with United will pay him two million pounds (3.7 billion won) per year.
