Soccer's world governing body is calling striker Park Chu-young, midfielder Baek Ji-hoon and defender Kim Jin-kyu the future of their national team.

In a wrapup of Group F in the World Youth Championships Wednesday, the FIFA homepage said the three players form the future backbone of the Taeguk Warriors despite the team's failure to advance to the second round.
